Thomas Woltmann (b. 1993, Vejle) is a furniture designer based in Copenhagen. His practice proceeds from ochre, the iron-rich earth Denmark ceased to extract in 1965, which he digs by hand from the disused works at Løvskal and returns to use in furniture, glaze and pigment. He works throughout with local manufacturers and craftsmen. Woltmann holds an MA in Furniture Design from the Royal Danish Academy and won the Danish Design Award in 2025.
