Et Arrangement is a collaboration between architects Laura Storbjerg and Lærke Dorthea Reid Harder Rasmussen, working between drawing, digital fabrication, and casting. Their practice is organised around transcription. A found mark, the tunnels left by wood-boring beetles beneath the bark of old oak, is traced by hand, digitised, milled into wood, and cast in tin. The Speculum mirrors take their name from the alloy used to cast mirrors before silvered glass. The milled moulds are held as works in their own right, so that each stage of the process arrives as a finished object.
