Rather than separating base and shade, this floor lamp is conceived as a continuous textile structure that carries light through its entire body. Wool by Kvadrat, hand-stitched by the artist, is tailored around a concealed frame, allowing the material to fall in elongated panels that extend to the floor. When illuminated, light does not remain confined to the upper volume; it travels downward, activating the base so that the lamp reads as a single, luminous form. The stitched lines remain visible, tracing the garment’s construction and reinforcing the relationship between structure, textile, and glow.
