A Baroque collector's cabinet of ebonised softwood with walnut veneer and star marquetry on the doors. The interior reveals nine drawers lined with printed paper depicting mythological creatures, figures, and flora, with a marbled base drawer and painted floral detail. The door interiors are faced with embossed gilt paper. Brass fittings, lock and key. A cabinet made for the accumulation of small precious things: its hidden ornament is considered its exterior.
